"/po/ - Papercraft & Origami" is 4chan's imageboard for posting papercraft and origami templates and instructions.
Welcome to /po/! We specialize in origami, papercraft, and everything that’s relevant to paper engineering. This board is also an great library of relevant PDF books and instructions, one of the best resource of its kind on the internet.
Questions and discussions of papercraft and origami are welcome. Threads for topics covered by paper engineering in general are also welcome, such as kirigami, bookbinding, printing technology, sticker making, gift boxes, greeting cards, and more.
Requesting is permitted, even encouraged if it’s a good request; fulfilled requests strengthens this board’s role as a repository of books and instructions. However do try to keep requests in relevant threads, if you can.
/po/ is a slow board! Do not needlessly bump threads.
Started a new thread since the last once has been archived.
Hey po/ do you know where i can find the last version of pepakura designer 3.1.8 full with the patch to view locked models? thanks a lot for your help
Hi, I'm looking for 3D Russian Buildings printables like the one in the picture.
Can you guys help me?
Anyone have this diagram? Or a site that i can find this
And yes, I Googled in japanese and tried in exvagos
Made a digital scan of this book, but I do not have much time to turn this into a high-quality pdf. Anyone willing to help out? (right now I've trimmed 16/64 pages)
i was kinda depressed and spent 3 days in my free time making birb
This thread is for all the Fold Up Toys projects, whether they be free downloadable paper crafts, building videos or website updates. Rather than trying to put the releases into other threads I figured it’d be easier to keep them all contained in just one.
Also, if you want to share you FUT builds that'd be great!
This guy on Deviantart made this and it makes me cringe on more than one level.
I just want to know, if I am not the only one that feels that way.
I search this papercraft everywhere but i couldn't find it. The original page of the papercraft was deleted.
And i am searching for more mother papercraft.
I'm interesting in seeing /po/'s best work.
what do you think about making sculptures out of aluminum foil?
Used to post a lot here until it was taken over by the Cult Moronicus trolls...see if things are better:

I used to know how to make them. I got it from a book. Youtube doesn't have it. Does anyone know how to make one?
This has been driving me crazy all week
Anyone here use blender to design models? What is your workflow like? How complex are your meshes?
Do you ever give away your paper creations? Do people appreciate them? Tell some stories ITT
Hey /po/. I don't normally come on here but I wanted to share with you my story about paper cranes.
I started learning to fold cranes when I was a teenager. I fell in love with the exercise and have folded many countless cranes throughout my life (I'm 24). The older I got the more I liked them, and the more I learned about them. What really made me obsessed with the symbol of the crane is the anime ghost in the shell stand alone complex 2nd gig. If you really want a very amazing and elaborite anime that has to do with oragami watch ghost in the shell SAC then SAC 2nd gig. There is a very sad love story about a boy and a girl and their relationship to paper cranes.
I know that asians have a way to fold a perfect crane and there are videos on how to do it on youtube but I never looked them up. I wanted the challenge of learning how to fold a perfect crane on my own. After countless cranes I still slowly learn better technique. It's an intimate relationship between your hands and the paper when you've folded them so many times.
Often times no matter how well I fold a crane if I look at it very closely I notice some flaw. A malformed tail or beak. A misshapen abdomen. A body too big or small. I imagine what this crane would feel if it were a real live crane and were born with such a defect. And I think maybe god is like the crane maker and no matter how many people he makes he just can't prevent his huge hands from making tiny mistakes. And it makes me more comforted knowing I have been created with mistakes.
Now wherever I go I carry a stack of stickey notes and while I set on my computer, wait at the doctor's office, study at school, or am in class, I just start folding crane after crane after crane. Normally I throw them all away but if I really like someone I will give them a crane.
I have read that in japan it is a belief that if you fold 1000 cranes you get a wish. Some say ten thousand cranes. And there is a very sad story about this. Cont.
I figure it might be a cool idea to have a thread dedicated to all things math and science related to papercraft and origami.
Feel free to share anything inherently sciency or mathematical about our shared hobbies, and even include science inspired patterns and models!
To kick us off we have the (pic related) origami-inspired solar panels that one day might be on a satellite.
Was wondering if anybody had CreatureKebab's models that aren't available on her blogspot. Specifically 2 of them (see picture and next post). Of course 2 of the 3 I'm most interested in aren't available. So I'd greatly appreciate if anyone had them!
What would the easiest Pokemon origami figures be? I guess Porygon is pretty easy and actually looks the part too, but now I'm curious if you guys have any other suggestions.
Hi guys can you help me to find some more of those?
Specially Russian buildings
Which one is your favourite flower kusudama?
Hey /po/ anyone have a As Val template or any russian guns?
Hey /po/ new poster does anyone know any good crafts that look cool but aren't super simple or overdone? examples are swans and boats. Im a somewhat expirenced beginner and the only thing i know about oragami are jeremey shaffer vids
(i know people will probably want to hang me for this)
I'm recreatig Spike's grips (from Cowboy Bebop) for my Jericho. I'm making the master parts to be molded out of layered/glued paper. As you can see, the left (or top in the picture) grip is curved away from the frame. I need to fix this before I can cast it.
Do you guys know any way to flatten this out? I was going to use a little bit of water but I'm using elmer's glue and I'm afraid the grips would delaminate.
Hi /po/. How about a quilling thread? This is a mandala I finished the other day, as you can see I'm still a beginner but it's a fun technique. Anybody here into it too and willing to share some pics or designs?
Can we have a thread for sexy papercrafts?
Posting a few pics to spark interest, but I sadly never found the files for them.
For school i need to make a usefull origami and i have no idea what to do and i have never done oregami before, does anyone have any ideas
Anyone else have spoopy origami? I know it's a little early in the year, but still
pls someone gimme reference points for this cp
Hi /po/, does anyone have scans of the papercraft models that came as a pre order bonus with Metal Gear Survive?
Would anybody happen to have the Uncle B's Place pyramid head model that was made way back in 2012? It's so well detailed and the only silent hill papercraft of note it seems.
the dead link and info is at
I've already scrubbed through some indonesian blog that also mirrored the site but they've both been dead since 2012.
as a side note I really wish I had taken more time to archive more papercraft over the years. there's so many good models from the early 2000 to 2014 that are completely lost to time due to fickle file hosting. I have around 20 gigs from when I was collecting years ago. Now that file space is peanuts I'm attempting to start archiving again.
To commemorate Spyro's 20th anniversary, I'm opening a blog dedicated to Spyro papercrafts that I'll be posting over time. The first one is Spyro himself, feel free to edit the template if you need to
I ordered my first cardboard kit. What glue should I buy?
Quite tricky with the thin papers.
Wonder if there's some designs possible with a full paper.
I've been looking for a design of a moth similar in shape to the one in the image, but I haven't managed to find anything close enough on google and pinterest. I've tried googling for other insects too (chiefly butterflies) in hope of finding something similar enough, but still no luck. Does anyone have a design to share?
All old papercraft forums are dying and almos all links there are dead for more than 2 years and after my hard drive died i decided that i'll share everything that i could recover from it also i urge you to share your collections so they won't dissapear like mine did https://drive.google.com/open?id=1vTOwUI78y3D0k63uTxC7-G5bArKQP0Sr
In remembrance of the last paper planes thread, which just so happened to be one of the oldest boards on 4chan that passed away quite recently, this thread will serve as its successor. Hopefully this thread won't be prematurely bumped into oblivion like the last one did.
Anyways, this thread could serve as a sort of "Paper Planes General". Feel free to post your designs, .pdf files, and folding instructions. Anything goes as long as it flies or at least looks like its supposed to.
Hi, looking for this triceratops head template, would be much appreciated if someone has it :D
Feel free to post your collections, your works in progress, or your star hordes! You can find lots of inspiration in the old thread (http://boards.4chan.org/po/thread/515222) Remember /PO/ is a slow board so please don't bump the thread. I created the last thread over two years ago. Here's to two more.
Hi, I want to make a "know that feel" guy mask : https://i.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/newsfeed/000/107/395/Thatface20110725-22047-wlaopv.png
The problem is that he is like sideway and it look ridiculous. Do you have ideas or files ?
Is there any chance someone could replicate this Destiny Ace of Spades mini replica in papercraft form? It’s one of the best weapons in the game and the focus of the most recent expansion-it’s got a lot of significance. The actual polystone replica from the Bungie store isnt available anymore. Also this is the version used by the NPC-the one that the player can use looks identical just with red marks instead of white.
Not sure if this is relevant to the board, but I'll shoot anyway.
Anyone knows of a database/forum/site/community for complete high quality board game scans? Best I found is http://www.boardgamer.ru/forum/, but unlike cs.rin.ru, there's no English section (as far as I'm aware). There's ripping from Tabletop Simulator, but the scans are mostly shitty. BoardGameGeek is another place, although there's usually no official stuff (understandable), only community contributions.
Concretely, I'm looking for Battlestar Galactica. I have no scans of my own to contribute, sorry.
Tried making the thread a few days ago but I had trouble locating the rest of the files to post. Here's the first rough draft of a rules set I'm working on for a papercraft based miniatures game. I know I need example photos to show clearly how range, cover and line of sight work.
its that time of year again,
since october and by association halloween is right around the corner let's post halloween themed papercraft, origami and costume ideas/tips so we can help our fellow /po/lite friends
please no arguing this board is too slow for that shit
ill start with this wolf head i found in my folder and a question on whether i should do something like this or a helmet from skyrim
I've been looking with no decent luck for buildings in this size to use as props for my Gunpla collection. I love the look of what I have found but thought to check here to see of any one had some tips for looking for such projects.
I'd love things in more of a city-scape. Sci-fi isn't needed but very welcome.
And if there's anything I can print that would work for roads that would be nice too. Any ideas or links?
does anyone have Paper Pendulum Clock kit or pattern? I have a kind of kit book but it quality is bad. pls share if you have better. I really want to make this one. thank you!
Does anyone have a serial for Make the Cut 4.1.0? I just got a Cricut for $600 but didnt realise it was locked behind shitty 'carts'. I managed to find and install older software but it cuts a big X in all designs.
Anyone have the new Shin Tannaka template?
Im making my own Deer head. Currently im putting all parts together, I have chose to glue it using double side tape to make it more clean in finish, but unfortunately tape is keeping to bump away. Do you have any double side tape recommendation? Paper that I used for this papercratf is around 250.
Ey /po/, one of the new Pokemon from Pokemon Sun and Moon version is Kartana. It looks like this. Can you make it in real life with origami, and if so, how?
Share your diagrams and videos
Now I just need a party to run it through
This was folded by Yu Lo for IOIO 2012
I must be daft but I just don't get step 7. I'm new at this, and couldn't find a video explaining this particular model. Can anyone explain this to me ?
i have been into origami for a while now and i feel like i can't find any challenging origami. Anyone have any REALLY challenging origami instructions? Found some cool pictures but i cant find the instructions.
I want to do some papercraft stuff but all I have is printing paper and notebook and some pencils. Are there any cool things I can make? I'm thinking something touhou
Someone has the book "PAPER & FORM - ORIGAMI FOR EXPERIENCED FOLDERS
plans for this type of model?
Ilan Garibi's "Tessellations for Everyone"
Let’s talk about this guy. First thing, I have to say that, regardless of his flaws and his teaching models without permission, I consider him an extremely positive and much needed figure in the origami community. (You know what Jesus said: let him who is without sin cast the first stone. Likewise, let only those who have never illegally downloaded an origami book criticise him.) I don’t know whether his channel has any strikes, but he must be on thin ice in YouTube terms.
So here’s what I suggest: someone with much more storage space than me should download all his videos in case his channel gets deleted, and archive them somewhere. They’re all 720p but generally long.
Let's fold together. I am folding models from this book for fun. Probably in order. Come join in, ask for help if needed, and help out if you can!

I'm looking for a rat papercraft template for my friend who's into rats.
The closest I got was this website
But all the download links are down and the website doesn't even technically exist anymore.
It doesn't have to be super basic or anything, I've done complicated papercrafts in the past.
My girlfriends birthday and id like to make her this..I'm stuck on the collapse and ref points
Does Origami help getting a gf?
Anybody got pics of origami video game characters? I made a luma.
Whenever I talk about origami with my friends, they just think it's basically crumbling up paper and and tossing it aside. Even when I share my complex origami models.
Does anyone else have people/friends who underestimate origami/papercraft?
Pic related, the level om on at the moment
How do I make the greatest airplane /po/?
Does anyone have a diagram for this unicorn? It's designed by Kyohei Katsuta
Can someone please tell me how to make different kinds of round shapes in popup books?
I want to be able to replicate a room idea i created where my character lives in a rounded room.
But any ways of creating round shapes would be very useful.
I'm new to papercraft/oragami, any starting models I should try?
What are your best pop up designs and templates?
I want you guys to print out part of this thread and turn it into origami.
You might be wondering why you would make this boring thread into origami.
Well that's because this isn't just some random thread.
This is going to be the oldest thread on all of 4chan!
Hey guys, I'm looking for the pic related papercraft of Beartic for a birthday gift. I've already found the original source
but the link is broken and I'm not exactly sure how long it could take for the owner to notice my PMs, so I wanted to ask around here if anyone might have this one saved and would be willing to share it with me somehow.
Might as well use this thread afterwards as some sort of papercraft seeking general too so it serves some sort of purpose.
Thanks in advance guys
what's a model that you've made yourself? I (personally) believe that this dragon was my own creation, and im quite proud of him!
hey /po/ with Sekiro coming out in a few days and it's Japanese influence, its perfect for papercraft! With nothing official available, would it be possible for someone to design a papercraft of samurai armor from the game? There isn't much papercraft from any FromSoftware games out there!
Anybody got these? Can anybody share them please, links are all dead and they are super cute :( thanks
What makes a good printer, /po/? I haven't bought a printer in over a decade and I want to get back into papercraft. This Canon TS9120 has good reviews for a low price. I figured a printer aimed at good photo quality printing would translate well to printing papercraft models on card stock. Anyone have any recommendations?
so, i found this really cool crow here (https://langorigami.com/artwork/crow/)
and i wanted to know if someone has instructions to make it (or something similar)
Orirobo Battle Royale

Hi it's my first time using this website so I hope I'm not breaking some rules or anything! But I've been in love with papercraft for the past year so I decided to design my own instructions based off of a friend's 3D model :-)
I hope you will enjoy it! And please share it if you finish. I'd love to see.
It's quite nice to see that there's an active place online to talk about papercraft
Origami Pokemon thread
post cp's, diagrams, and your finished models
I said if I came up with anything new I'd share it with you all.
I'm still focusing on drawing, but at the moment I am waiting on books, and these are related to what I want to draw in the future anyway.
I've been focusing on minimalism, and have been trying to come up with a couple.
I decided not to post on the old thread. I don't really like having to slog through petty arguments and people being rude to one another just to find the one or two people who are actually saying anything civil and productive.
I don't know if I'll share diagrams for any of the models I make next Any fun I had sharing has been spoiled by greedy spoild people. I always ask for people to post their finished products, but so far have only ever seen one. Doesn't feel like I'm getting anything back especially for a community that seems so eagar to have every diagram possible.
Anyway, this will probably serve as an update thread for people who don't follow my Flickr.
Here's a minimalist gray fox
I humbly share Byakuren's papercraft. i think it was never share before.
I can also scan Suika and Yuuka.
If someone has Meilin i'll be more than happy.
does anyone have the scans for
there were some from the archive back from 2014 but the link died
also are there any more who did touhou papercraft stuff other than ssa and lily?
Hey /po/ is there any other Japan WW2 paper raft out there besides ships and planes? I was thinking like soldiers or weapons.
I found this pegasus design by "__ObeLisK" and felt I really had to figure out how to fold it. There are no instructions given so I tried to figure out what the base was and reverse engineer it.
I initially thought of a bird base but after playing around with some paper for a while it doesn't seem to be the case.
I'd appreciate it if another anon could throw their hat into the ring.
Did someone have the template for this?
And can we have a thread about spaceship
I love this model . I can't find Ares Alagna cheetah any diagrams.i have a crease pattern. does anyone have any?
Free download of Mega Man X series Zero. Enjoy!
have anyone here seen a paper stop-motion about a guy in a abandoned house, with darkwave music and house's descomposing? i'll apreciatte it
Hi /po/, I've never done any real papercraft before but I recently found this template for the mascot of a doujin musician I follow. Is there a standard way to read these? The website I got it from was taken down and the image only exists on the Wayback Machine so there aren't any written instructions that I know of, and if there were they'd be in Japanese. Thanks in advance!
Hi, does anyone have instructions for this crane man? I want to make a bunch and pose them :) Thanks
I made it!
Pop-up picture book about big tits.

Hi po I,m working on a project and producing a zine and wanted to see if there are any really interesting book form styles that people could recommend for me to have a look at,
It will be a multiple page project so pages will have to be bound (not sure if I will use staples or twine)
any recommendations are welcome
Hello /po, I'm looking for a middle term between this kick ass and hard as hell to build samurai and that ugly as fuck but simple man. Can you help me? Some reference books, videos, whatever
Thanks in advance!
Hello, Alex here from Fold Up Toys. A little while ago I did a request thread on here taking suggestions and turning them into downloadable paper toys for a video series. I had a lot of fun making the models you were interested in.
I've just finished all my major projects for the year and wanted to try this again, but this time work towards a larger overall goal. Putting all the toys based on the requests into a self-published book.
I'll still make the models available for free download, but this way I can wrap the request project up in a neat little portfolio friendly bow.
So, tell me what you'd like a paper toy of, and if I like your suggestion, I'll make it. The OP image has some of the models I designed from the last thread as examples.
Sup, I am looking for a way to sell my sheet of paper (with bids) and write down the price after it is sold by filling the gap. Any idea how to do that? May be some websites?
Hey anons. Do you have any patterns or guides for the sort of origami done in Japan before the modern ages (say, the 20th century)? For example, I read about pic related being folded for traditional Japanese hinamatsuri ceremonies. Then there's the book "Kan no mado" which also sounds very interesting, a collection of origami guides from 1845.
Vidya meets Cardboard Papercraft. What does /po/ think of this synthesis?
So sad to see WWG go. And worse is the fact that the Terrainlinx system is going to die with them.
It's a shame nobody else is picking up their banner, the system mixed simplicity with pleasing depth. And it's not like they're around to try and defend their copyright or patent or anything.
SOMEONE HAVE NEW BOOKS OF ORIGAMI???
Anyone have the diagrams drawn by Javier Vivanco?
does anyone have a pdf of this 3d origami book or can anyone point me in the direction to where i could find it? pic of book
I'm very bad at papercraft but I'd like to reproduce pic related package for my class projekt. HALPH.
ur my only hope 4chan papercraft pals.
I got pic related as a git from some neighbors once, and I still remember it sailing through the air for such a long time...
Who makes paper gliders for real here? It seems pretty cool tbqh
Looking for some good origami container designs that I could use as flower pots.
I've got some small succulent plants and I think I could fold some origami pots for them. Ideally, I should be able to use waterproof Tyvek paper with a hole cut in the bottom for drainage. Most succulents only need to be watered once a month, so durability shouldn't be a huge issue. As a backup plan, I can line the pot with plastic, or simply use a plastic pot hidden inside of the origami pot.
The pots should are going to be between 2" and 5" tall, same diameter as height. Tyvek seems to hold a crease pretty well, although it is significantly thicker than paper.
I'm looking for this cute lil Rag Rappy from Phantasy Star Online, but all the downloads are dead rapidshares. I can't find any older SEGA games.
Will someone please post this and other SEGA papercrafts PDOs/Templates if you got 'em?
I love this model but I can't find any diagrams or crease patterns. Does anyone have any?
Designing the king in yellow in origami
So far this is a 40x40 grid on the top quarter.
I'm having a shit time working through this. Got any ideas /pool/?
Merry (late) Christmas /po/
Gremir Models (almost) full backup, and before anyone starts complaining about the .exe files, all of the models from this recently closed store were delivered via a special software, you would receive a license for a particular computer/printer combination, thus allowing you to print the model. The .exe on these files has been modified to allow anyone to print the models. Unfortunately many of these models are now unobtainable by any other means, due to many of them having been made by designers that seem to have vanished, even those that purchased the models legally can no longer move the files to a different computer, so for all you here they are, please download them and archive.
Two free models
Hi /po/ I kindly request your help, I'm trying to get a decent Flight Control Tower. Just like the one in the picture or something related. Thank you.
Post any pattern that can be printed for use as "homemade" origami paper.
Please, NO pictures of finished figures, and NO diagrams... these CAN be used in OTHER threads I will create soon, just NOT HERE!
Google Image searches are a good source and where I've gotten most of my own patterns, but Google recently changed how the image searches work (for the worse) and I've been having trouble lately getting more patterns to add to my collection.
I've looked everywhere and can't find anything the artist is called Ingrid Siliakus she does some cool stuff but wondering if she had any templates or does she keep this stuff secret?
Post your geometric models/diagrams and creations

I can't do a lot of papercraft anymore, but luckily at least once a year is still doable...! ;o) I hope you like these papercraft Advance Wars Bases, and of course you can find the rest of my old papercrafts on my papercraft webpage as well (in the other categories):
Have fun building!
Anybody got these files maybe? I know they are on Taobao and you have to pay for them, but I can't order them from my country at all :( I know a Philiphine or something site has some of them, but not all, and I was wondering if anybody is willing to share or trade them? Thanks in advance.
How can I pass this image to polygons? I plan to do it in 3D but I do not know how to make a plan or guide with polygons.
What's a good origami book to give as a gift? My brother wants a book for Christmas and I'm not sure about what kind of good stuff is out there. Maybe something lesser-known but anything works.
Pic related, this is the last book he used to use.
Anyone know any companies/sites that sell papercraft kits? I just ordered one of Sankei's products from hobbylink, but most of their items that aren't ghibli related are either not readily avaible or not availabe at all. Even the item I ordered was listed as in stock but changed to backorder the day after I ordered it.
Anybody like Vertigo comics? It's actually the 25th anniversary of the brand...we don't have any good papercrafts...can someone make a high-quality Constantine or Swamp Thing?
I made this origami tree frog by Robert Lang (Origami Design Secrets). I am satisfied with how it turned out, but, since it is for a gift, I would like it to look as good as possible. What recommendations do you have?
i just got in to folding last week and I have been enjoying it greatly. I figured we could start a thread where beginners post their work, and people make pointers that might be obvious to the experienced but helpful for the tyro.
just recently got myself one of pic related, it's nice, i'm making a lot of vinyl stickers and i wanted to cut some printed stickers, problem is even when i put the paper and all in the correct place the machine keeps cutting outside the printed imafes, any tip for a begginer? for i want also to cut some printed papercraft i have to save time (i suck with scissors).
This may be a kind of a weird thread here, but I think that if anyone can help me, it is you guys.
I am an entomologist, and I need a reliable way to make beetle cards, just like the one pictured here. These cards are used to mount really small specimens, and are used in three sizes, ranging from 5x9mm to 10x20mm.
I thought about using punches or paper cutting dies, but they can't be made with these little round corners. My currently idea is to cut it with a guillotine, but I have not found a way to round these corners (radius of around 0.5mm).
Can you guys help me?
Thank you very much, and sorry for being kinda off-topic.
Anyone have 1/11
3D Paper Cutting Sphear by Seiji Tsukimoto - Japanese Kirigami Craft Book
Hello. Can someone help me understand this step? I have tried multiple approaches and nothing I do seems to work. The model starts at page 69 of this ebook:
Thank you very much if you can help.
